There are three major categories of
agency. Mail Order, Introductions, and Tours
Agency. Some of the larger agencies will combine all three categories.
# Mail Order: These
agencies generate their income on emails. They provide a way of
communication with the ladies via the internet. Some agencies have no
restrictions on the type of emails and some restrict any form of scamming by
the ladies. You can find these agencies on the web offering free
access, paid membership plans or per email charges. (Just remember there is
nothing in the world for free).
# Introduction Service: These
are the agencies that provide you with introduction service when you arrive
in country. They have a collection of ladies who are looking for marriage and
are willing to meet foreign men. I know of only a few free introduction
agencies and the normal rate is between $20 to $50 per meeting. Expect
to pay for an interpreter if the lady doesn't speak English.
# Tour agency: These
agencies offer tours that range in size from 5 or 6 men to 40 to 50 men at a
time. I have found the smaller tours tend to offer more personal
service, but the larger tours have more ladies to select from. When
choosing a tour agency, try to be aware of their guarantee and how they
select their ladies. There is only a little difference between a
$3,000.00 tour and a $300.00 tour. Most tour agencies hire local agents to
provide the ladies or send out invitations to the ladies prior to the tour.
Don't expect your host to know each lady personally. If you are new to the
international dating scene, then I suggest a tour as a good way to get a
feeling of what is going on. It will be a little like interviewing a
group of ladies in a large room. But most guys who had been here a few times
seemed to stick to local agencies.
Now the question is how to choose.
If you are the type who wants to
contract the lady directly without much help from the agency, you would look
for the free address sites or the site that allow you to purchase the
address. However, be aware that most ladies that may be scammers and
professional daters work independent of the agencies and many work from home.
If you are the type who wants to
contact ladies, but wants someone to assist you with translations and help
you avoid the scammers and professional daters. Then I recommend the agency
that has a strong anti-scammer policy.
Look for an agency that has a
flat rate or a monthly membership as it will be cheaper then a per email
charge. Again the larger agencies have more ladies, but the smaller agencies
know the ladies better.
